Sebastian ErraZuriz's Bird Chandelier presents a traditional crystal lamp covered with sculptural birds. The 50 birds attempt to balance the presence of the shiny crystals with their multicolored feathers. Almost as fragile and delicate as the glass pieces themselves, the birds are immortalized as decoration offering a cold and eerie beauty.

The Bird Chandelier was inspired by a similar lamp at Sebastian's grandmother's house. Occasionally, birds fly in through the windows, perch on the lamp, and at times unfortunately gets injured or die when trying to fly out through a closed window.
