Complete is a sculpture in honor of the renowned French artist Marcel Duchamp, whose work is associated with the Dadaist and Surrealist movements. Duchamp is considered one of the most important artists of the twentieth century, and has always been an important influence for Sebastian Errazuriz.

 “Complete” is both an homage and a mischievous jab at Duchamp’s famous ready-made sculpture, “Bicycle Wheel”, which consists of a single wheel on top of a stool. Errazuriz, in his competitive nature, couldn't resist sacrilegiously indicating that his idol’s work might not have been “complete”, and that his own completed version is better.
