Over approximately 10 years, Sebastian Errazuriz hid inflatable crosses underneath his seat on every commercial flight he took. The inflatable crosses were left next to the standard safety vest provided by the airline, as a complementary emergency aid of a more spiritual manner.

In his characteristic ironic atheist humor, Errazuriz explained that he had faith that his crosses being inflatable might actually have the miraculous capacity to help save someone’s life.
