A temporary theater was staged in a small alley in Santiago, Chile. A professional orchestra stood in silence without moving until a passerby decides to go up to the podium and direct them. The orchestra would play when directed and as directed following the instructions of each new improvised conductor. The neighbors on the street and surrounding apartment balconies followed the experience delighted as if they where at a box in a real theater.

The project took place at the same time as the Chilean Educational reform was being discussed in the senate in an attempt to pass a bill that secured free education for everyone. The orchestra performance was highly covered by the media and engaged in the political debate, insisting on the democratic access to culture for everyone.

Sebastian Errazuriz was named "Juan Sebastian" in honor of Bach the composer. The artist grew up watching his father listen to the radio while directing imaginary orchestras and was consequently always interested in creating a project that could approach the experience of classical music to everyone. Sebastian worked closely with the orchestra developing a series of signals that could later be easily used by non musicians to feel they where part of the conducting experience.
