Rescued from its inevitable death in a slaughter house, this cow was taken to a recreated farm on top of a 10-story building in the center of Santiago, Chile. The cow was given a second chance at life, this time on top of the city—an improbable reality for a cow.

Its new found life as a rural icon in a big city challenges our own urban daily routines. The building that is now home to the cow is strategically located within view of Chile’s religious, political, and economical powers, forcing both the local authorities and population to stop and look.
