Bowl Coffee Table is another piece from Sebastian’s plywood series. The table’s refined edges, fluctuating angles, and satiny surface entice the viewer to visually and tactilely explore this table. Nature morte bowl series is an homage to the artist’s grandmother Anita, who always had a porcelain bowl with porcelain fruit decorating the dinning table.

Errazuriz’s parents and uncles continued the tradition, and so in an attempt to invite his generation to incorporate this tradition, the artist decided to physically carve out a bowl into the surface of his table. The table itself is also carved out of plywood blocks.
