Created in collaboration with Horm, Metamorphosis Shelf is hand carved following organic designs of crawling Ivy. Metamorphosis is an attempt by the artist to recreate the great old ivy that grew on his childhood home. At the time he and his brothers would use the thick branches that ran next to the wall as a natural shelf to store their garden toys. 

Metamorphosis was hand carved directly on top of life size drawings the artist made over large panels of Baltic Birch wood and developed in Italy with the woodworkers from Horm Furniture Company. The shelf is part of the pieces that will be exhibited at the new solo show "Beautiful Premonitions" on view from 28th of April until the 30th of June at Cristina Grajales Gallery in New York.
